What should I expect during my first session?

Your first session is an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your concerns, goals, and history. Your clinician will conduct a comprehensive assessment and work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan. It's also a chance for you to ask questions and determine if we're the right fit for your needs.

How long are therapy sessions?

Individual therapy sessions are 50 minutes. Couples and family therapy sessions are 90 minutes to allow adequate time to address multiple perspectives and dynamics.

Session frequency is personalized based on your needs and goals. Many clients start with weekly sessions and may transition to biweekly or monthly sessions as they progress. We'll work together to determine the best schedule for you.

Is therapy confidential?

Yes, confidentiality is a cornerstone of therapy. Everything you share is protected by law and professional ethics. There are limited exceptions (such as if there's a risk of harm to yourself or others), which we'll discuss during your first session.

What therapeutic approaches do you use?
